Mini Cart
-
A Merchant One Mini Cart is used to keep the customers updated
with their shopping cart status while they are browsing a
product’s detail page. It shows the number of items in the
shopping cart and cart total by default. However, this can be
customized by modifying the templates.
-
My Pocket
-
My pocket contains quick links to some of the mostly used
features like forgotten password, order tracking, etc.
-
Order History
-
An order history with all order information of current account
can be found at [My Account] -> [Orders] -> [Order History]. A
registered customer may always log in to the system and go to
[Order History] to check the status of orders he has placed or
details of any past orders.
-
Order Tracking
-
Because the system provides
one-page express checkout which allows
unregistered customers to checkout anonymously, there needs to
be a way for those customers to track their orders without the
need to logging in and looking at [Order History]. An order can
be always tracked by entering its order number.
-
Wish List
-
A wish list is a personalized list which contains all the
products that one would like to own from the store. It can be
shared between friends and searched by the owner’s email
address or username on the site. Friends and family can select
a perfect present by looking at one’s wish list. This can
potentially improve customer experience and boos the sales of
the site.
-
One-Page Express Checkout
-
Merchant One offers one-page express (anonymous) check-out
process to help merchants minimize order abandonment. Order
abandonment is one of the main issues that all e-tailers face.
Some customers change their minds and leave the site before the
checkout proceeds to the end. Some unregistered customers
simply leave when they see a sign in/sign up page after they
click the BUY NOW button. The express checkout can be disabled
from the back-end system.
-
Save cart items for later purchase
-
Merchant One offers customers the option to save unwanted cart
items for later purchase, rather than simply delete them. Those
products will be displayed to remind the customer at future
checkout.
-
Ratings & Reviews
-
Most customers prefer ecommerce sites with user generated
product ratings or reviews and think it is extremely helpful if
they can see what other people say about the product that they
are thinking of purchasing. Ratings & reviews not only increase
consumer satisfaction, trust and confidence, but also help most
of the buyers make up their mind to place the order. Ratings
and reviews can be managed by the administrator from the
back-end system. Free store points can be rewarded to customers
who post reviews that are helpful to others. This feature can
greatly improve the conversion rate of a site.
-
Edit Qty in Cart
-
Customers may edit the purchase quantity of products directly
within the shopping cart.
-
Password Recovery
-
A quick link of Forgotten Password can be found in
My Pocket or on the sign in page. A customer
may receive an email with a password recovery link by entering
the email address which was used in registration.
-
Browse History
-
Browse history reminds customers of recently viewed products by
showing a list of the last five products/categories viewed in
the store. This is typically used in the shopping cart and on
product pages to allow easy navigation to products already
viewed.
-
Favourites
-
When customers browse through your site, they can add any
products of interest to the favourites list at any time, so
they can always come back and find these products easily.
